Taylor Swift is reflecting on some of the darker moments of the Eras Tour.

In the first episode of The End of an Era, her new tour docuseries on Disney+, Swift looked back on the terrifying terrorist plot planned for her Vienna concert in August 2024. Though the plan was ultimately foiled, with multiple arrests made in connection to the threat, it wasn't without the unfortunate setback of canceling the three shows scheduled for the Austrian capital. The Life of a Showgirl hitmaker previously broke her silence on the Vienna terror plot in a lengthy statement on Instagram, admitting she felt a "tremendous amount of guilt" for the "devastating" decision to cancel the shows."

Prior to resuming her tour in London days after the plot, Swift revealed in a sit-down interview that she never expected to experience the terrifying ordeal, especially during her record-breaking tour, per Page Six.

"I thought this would be a tour I would be proud of. It's like a force to be reckoned with in global culture. So, never in my life did I think we would have a terrorist plot," she said.

With more than 100 Eras Tour performances under her belt at the time, she was no stranger to putting on a show; however, the "Opalite" singer said she felt like she was "skating on thin ice" during her first show after the foiled attack, People reports.

"We've had a series of violent, scary things happen to the tour. Like, we dodged a massacre situation and so I've just been kind of all over the place."

Swift also broke down in tears as she spoke about the "horrible attack" at a Taylor Swift-themed dance party in the UK the month prior that left three young fans dead and how she was going to meet some of the families. Getting the tears out of the way and pledging to not cry in the emotional meeting, Swift explained how she was balancing her own anxiety with the desire to put fans at ease and give them a memorable concert experience.

"From a mental standpoint, being like afraid that something's gonna happen to your fans at any moment, this is a new challenge," she said. "I want to keep all of the nerves I have away from the crowd. Because when you're sort of the ringleader of this show, they can sense any kind of shift energetically in you, and you have to really focus on that and factor that in, that you're at the Eras Tour, nothing's wrong."

The first two episodes of The End of an Era docuseries are now streaming on Disney+ as is her concert film Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The Final Show.
