Starting Wednesday, the Hawaiian city will fine pedestrians who use their phones while crossing the street. Do you think this is something that should be implemented in the other 49 states?
Understandably when you are using your phone, you are not looking up, if you are not looking up and you walk into the street that could be really bad. People will argue the fact that they should be able to use their phone and cross the street at the same time. They will get up and arms about it about it but the fact is it takes not even 5 seconds to cross the street. There is barely anything to the average adult that would change their lives if not using their phone that would significantly change in that amount of time.
