Did realize how common it was to get your hand stuck in a mason jar until seeing this thread. Thinking of some pretty ridiculous ways to end up at the hospital. I remember this time in middle school it was during the soccer season of P.E. It had rained a couple days before and the concrete courts outside had dried before the grass.
Our brilliant coach thought it was a good idea to do kicking drills on the court. It was my turn to kick to I ran up to score and kick. My foot while in kicking motion smashed into the concrete just short of the ball.
The class thought I was clowning around until they saw that I couldn't get up. Hours later it was revealed that I had a severe sprained ankle. Had to be on crutches for weeks!
