Imagine sitting curled up on the couch watching your favorite TV show half way falling asleep when you hear your door knob jiggling. You know that you are not expecting company and so now you are left wondering who the f*ck is trying to get in!
That sudden chill kinda rushes over your body as that hairs on your arm starts to raise. I have been there before where I could hear someone trying to use their keys to open my door. I knew what was going on and I just waited for them to realize what was going on.
This was not the case of accidental door wrong key for Caitlynne Hines. Cliff the offender had one too many drinks as he tried to get into Caitlynnes place. Cliff so drunk he tried to break in, he even tried to pick the lock insisting that he lived there!
Dude had to be completely off his rocker. Somehow Caitlynne felt secure enough not to call the police on this fool. Well, the next day Hines returned from work to find a six-pack of Alexander Keith’s IPA on her stoop with a note included. You guessed it, an apology note. Which Hines shared the note on her facebook.
And here’s what the note read:
Hey Fellas!
I’m the guy who was relentlessly (and very drunkenly) trying to get in your house last night. It turns out Danderson’s (?) place was upstairs. I hope it doesn’t reflect poorly on him that he has such an asshole friend such as myself. Anyway, I sincerely apologize for waking you up and being so disorderly in the middle of the night. Please accept this 6 pack of average tasting beer as a token of my appreciation.Take care, Cliff.
P.S. I walked like 8 km to some random girl’s house after all that. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.
