Almost a year ago, Louis Tomlinson experienced the birth of his son Freddie Reign, who will celebrate his first birthday on Saturday. It was also not too long ago, Tomlinson lost his mother to leukemia at the age of 43.
In a recent interview, Tomlinson said when he heard the news of his mother's death, he felt like he wanted to "throw the towel in."
"But it was my mum who said to me that I've just got to keep going,"Tomlinson said. "She told me very sternly that she wanted me to."
Also in the same interview Louis was asked about his current relationship with Zayn Malik. He had this to say about the subject.
"I think a lot of us have spoken recently, me and Zayn have spoken recently, we've gotten to a point now where you can just really be happy for each other," he said. "Things have happened in the past, of course. And his first song was an absolute smash, and that's a great song, so yeah it's nice." - Louis Tomlinson
