Prince Andrew Settles Sex Assault Lawsuit
After years of denials, there's now a settlement in a sexual abuse lawsuit against Britain's Prince Andrew. That's according to a filing in New York City in the case involving Virginia Giuffre [[JOO-frey]]. Terms of the deal are being kept under wraps, but sources say Andrew will fork over about $12-million to charity.
As you’ll likely recall, the case centered around Andrew's relationship with the late, disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein – Giuffre accused the royal of rape while she was underage. Andrew denied the sex abuse charges against him, but did admit that he met Epstein through Ghislaine Maxwell.
In a letter to the court, Andrew says he accepts Giuffre has suffered as an “established victim” of sex abuse, but doesn’t admit any wrongdoing. “Prince Andrew has never intended to malign Ms. Giuffre’s character,” the letter offers, in part. “He accepts that she has suffered both as an established victim of abuse and as a result of unfair public attacks. Prince Andrew regrets his association with Epstein, and commends the bravery of Ms. Giuffre and other survivors in standing up for themselves and others.”

Nick Cannon Appears To Want Mariah Carey Back
Nick Cannon may be busy replenishing the earth, but he clearly misses what he had. Or at least, that’s what his new music seems to suggest. “Alone,” which dropped on Valentine’s Day, features a surprise declaration to his ex-wife, Mariah Carey.
The single samples Mariah’s 1990 single “Love Takes Time.” Nick sings, “As much as I want you back/ Probably better where you at/ Probably better where you at/ ‘Cause I am still runnin’ the streets/ I’m still all in the sheets/ Havin’ babies/ Models and singers and actresses sayin’ they pregnant by me.”
“Alone” – which is described as an ode to the mother of his first two children, Monroe and Moroccan – is part of Nick’s upcoming mixtape, “Raw N B The Explicit Tape.” His exact wording was, “This is the gospel of my broken soul – this is as raw as it gets.”

Simone Biles is Engaged!
Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles and Houston Texans safety Jonathan Owens are engaged.
Biles drops the news via Instagram post with a series of photos of Owens proposing in a gazebo in Houston, Texas.
"THE EASIEST YES," Biles captions the slideshow. "I can't wait to spend forever & ever with you, you're everything I dreamed of and more! Let's get married FIANCÉ 💍🥺🥲🤎 @jowens_3" Biles gushes. Owens also celebrated the news in an Insta post, writing, "Woke up this morning with a fiancée."
