A study through Rutgers University found, on a global level, that women flirt in the same basic way. There are smiles, eye and eyebrow movements, head tilts, hiding the face and giggling, and all the rest. The question is…how do you achieve that more frequently? It’s a good thing for you there are scientists working tirelessly to answer that very question.Alpha M is breaking down some of the answers:
- At the University of California Berkley, they found that a guy’s chances improve dramatically when they approach someone that they see as their physical and emotional equal…rather than over-shooting. However, you’re never going to make the shots you don’t take, so that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t aim high…just be prepared for lower odds of success.
- A study gave women a choice of men with various stages of facial hair growth. Between the 6,000 women polled, the 10-day stubble look was the winner.
- Women found men with solid physiques the best short-term partners, but the dad-bods won out for the long-term.
- A cross-cultural study found the women were more “sexually attracted” to men wearing red because the color “symbolizes strength, passion, and sexiness.”
- Even if you’re a class-A jerk, a dog will make you appear more attractive. That goes double for guys that are actually good people.
- A University of Alaska study found that women responded to men with “more dangerous hobbies” over those who “played it safe.”
- Women seem to be more attracted to guys who wear “scented deodorant” over those who wore “unscented”…even when they couldn’t technically smell the scent.
- Scars work in your favor, and make a guy appear adventurous and “not boring.”
- Proud is good. Cocky & arrogant isn’t. That’s from a 2011 study on the subject.
