Millennials Aren't Afraid To Call These Gen Z Trends "Toxic"

Usually, it’s Gen Z doing all of the finger pointing, making sure millennials and boomers are well aware of flaws, but oh how the tables have turned. Buzzfeed gathered up a series of some of the best tweets from millennials that savagely come for the toxicity buried deep in Gen Z culture. Just some of the “toxic” things that Gen Z is known for include:

Believing in a lot of things they see online:

“gen z making fun of their parents for believing everything they see on facebook when they do the exact same shit just with different form of social media.” - @cinnabunbimbo

Being preoccupied with what millennials are doing...especially when millennials invented a lot of their favorite things:

“I heard Gen Z is making fun of millennials on TIKTOK for wearing skinny jeans. You just found out what Jordan’s are. Let’s all just calm down.” - @L1LDebbie

“Not gen z making fun of millennials on apps created by millennials” - @MacDoesIt

Romanticizing everything:

“gen z loves to romanticize mental illness until it’s the ugly side of mental illness and it’s fucking gross honestly.” - @valsmantis

“this gen z revolution thing is being very much romanticised. it’s not quirky or fun to have to protest for basic human rights.” -@spideykayla

Thinking everyone is old:

“Gen Z needs to stop calling folks in their 30s and 40s old.” - @MR_STiXX
