As we usher in October tomorrow, many people already have the holidays on the brain, specifically holiday travel. Now’s about the time folks start making their holiday travel plans, and a new report offers up some advice on booking, and reveals where most people are going.
The new Expedia report notes:
- The most expensive holiday travel dates are the Wednesday before Thanksgiving (November 24th), and Thursday, December 23rd. Also quite pricey will be Tuesday, December 28th.
- To save money, try shifting your travel to the week before or after each holiday.
- Also a trip between holidays, such as December 6thto 17th, could save you over 10%.
- Traveling on Thanksgiving or Christmas Day could also be cheaper.

- Well, for Thanksgiving, Cancun is the most searched destination, while Orlando, Florida is tops for Christmas.
