Internet Blasts Woman For Ridiculous Demands For Dog Sitter

We know most dog owners are very protective of their animals, but one dog owner is being blasted on the Internet for the outrageous demands they had for a potential dog sitter, and we bet you’ll be angry too.

Screenshots of the text conversation between the dog owner, Claudia, and the potential pet sitter were recently posted to Imgur, showing just how out of line Claudia’s demands were. The texts reveal that Claudia expected the sitter who would be looking after her diabetic dog Junie to feed her, walk her, give fluid injections and do blood sugar checks, which isn’t that crazy. But then she took things a bit far.

Among the requirements:

  • She demanded the sitter be with the dog 90% of the time, noting “last time our AC went out while the girl was at work and we lost two rabbits because she was not there.”
  • The sitter would be required to pay for any emergencies out of their own pocket.
  • The sitter would be spied on with cameras.
  • Claudia demanded the sitter keep her phone on loud, noting, “I cannot stress how much anxiety I get when I call to check on her and I do not get a response.”
  • To make matters worse, for all of this she only wants to pay the sitter $110 for nine days of work, or about 56-cents an hour.
  • And, Claudia refuses to pay until 24 hours after she returns to make sure the dog isn’t showing any signs of anxiety.

As you can imagine, the potential dog sitter turned Cladiia down, to which she rudely shot back, “Tell me, what part is too hard for you?” The sitter basically said the pay wasn’t enough for all that was required, especially since she had a full time job.

  • Of course, folks on the Internet were downright shocked by this woman’s demands.
    • “She expected to win through intimidation,” one person wrote, “Desperately seeking the desperate.'
    • Another added, 'Person 1: Here is a crazy demand you must listen to. Person 2: I cannot do this here is common sense. Person 1: I can't believe it.'
    • Finally, a third simply commented, “Jesus, no wonder Junie has anxiety with such an awful owner."
