The pandemic has caused a LOT of shortages due to disruptions in labor, resources, and logistics . . . but this might be the most RANDOM one yet.
Washington state is dealing with a shortage of LICENSE PLATES, so licensing agents are issuing temporary tags instead. These paper license plates will only be good for 60 days, and then they'll have to be renewed.
The Department of Licensing has not said when the license plate supply chain will be restored . . . but they've increased staffing and outsourced production to another state in the hopes of getting things back on track.
