A new poll looked at people's relationships with their cars, and they're mostly favorable . . . since, let's be honest, some people spend as much time in their cars as they do with their own families.
58% of people have had some of the best moments of their lives in their vehicle . . . and 46% have experienced some of their worst. There's plenty of overlap there, considering some people may have had neither.
So what are some of the memorable things people do in cars?
48% say they enjoy talking to themselves in the car . . . 42% cry . . . 40% have had "epiphanies" . . . 37% shop online . . . 32% have sex . . . 21% like to take suggestive selfies or social media photos . . . and 17% prepare meals. (???)
Technically, these are things that people do in their cars . . . not necessarily while they were driving . . . but let's be honest, who's pulling into a secluded spot off the side of the road to "shop online."
(There's also a bizarre list of the "epiphanies" people have had in their cars, and it includes "figuring out a great chess move.")
