A bride and groom share a lot of special moments during their wedding, and first moment the groom sees his bride walking down the aisle is certainly one of them. Well, one man is dealing with the wrath of the Internet after his wife shared the awkward thing he did just as she was arriving.
Vancouver’s Taylor Loren shared a clip on TikTok of the moment her husband saw her walking down the aisle at their wedding four years ago. Describing it as “the most important moment of her life,” the clip shows her hubby at first lighting up, before pulling out his phone to check it.
“Four years ago today I walked down the aisle to marry the love of my life,” she shares. “It was one of the most important & emotional moments of our life - and my husband did the most romantic thing... He checked his phone.”
The clip has since gone viral, with more than 2.3 million people viewing it, with many blasting the hubby.
- "Okay, no,” one person commented, while another noted, “This is tacky,” and another simply stated, "Divorce.”
- But Taylor later updated fans to let her know they’re still married, and admitted she thought the whole thing was funny. “He was sooooo nervous! I thought it was funny,” she explained. “He did have the vows on his phone, but he didn't need to pull them up at that moment.” In a followup post she shared, “Babe, TikTok wants to know why you were checking your phone while I was walking down the aisle,” and he replied, “Because crypto never sleeps.”
