KENDALL JENNER ACCUSED OF CULTURAL APPROPRIATION AGAIN

It’s another day in cultural appropriation withKendall Jenner. This time, she’s coming under fire for her 818 Tequila ad. She shared a series of photos from an agave farm in Jalisco, Mexico, where she set up shop for the new venture. She’s rocking jeans, a cowboy hat, and a loose cotton shirt over a tank top – a look some refer to as “migrant chic.”’

The supermodel-turned-liquor company owner’s critics called her tone-deaf and encouraged people not to buy her product. A person of Mexican descent said, “We don’t want a White woman profiting from our culture.”

Kendall’s defenders were quick to note that no one seems to care when George Clooney, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, LeBron James, Kevin Hart, and others. “Kendall Jenner’s 818 tequila is no different than George Clooney’s Casamigos or The Rock’s Teramana,” tweeted one supporter, with another adding, “I get why Kendal shouldn’t own a tequila & I’m for it, BUT why don’t y’all have that same energy with every celebrity who owns a tequila that isn’t Mexican????” Kendall has yet to respond…

TAYLOR SWIFT CREDITED ON OLIVIA RODRIGO'S NEW ALBUM

Olivia Rodrigo is not shy to admit that Taylor Swift is one of her inspirations. Now she is admitting it on a larger scale, by giving Swift songwriting credit on her new album, "Sour."

The specific track "1 Step Forward, 3 Steps Back" gives credit to both Swift and her longtime producer Jack Antonoff. The title of the song is also a subtle nod to the number 13, which is Swift's lucky number.

There was no official collaboration on the song, however, the track interpolates "New Year's Day," Swift's closing song on her "Reputation" album.
