Tinder Teams With Duolingo To Give Free Language Lessons

When looking for love why should someone limit their search for potential mates to their own country? Of course, finding love with an international mate may come with some language barriers, but Tinder is ready to solve that problem.

The dating app has partnered with the language app Duolingo to help users learn to flirt in different languages. Duolingo offers lessons in 40 different languages, and the free lessons aim to help those using Tinder’s “Passport” feature, which connects singles looking for love across the globe.

That seems particularly beneficial, since according to Tinder, 76% of “Passport” users have matched with people from other countries who speak a different language then they do. According to Tinder’s Udi Milo, a partnership with Duolingo “will help our members spark conversations easily, no translation needed."

Tinder’s “Passport” feature normally costs extra but the site is making it available for free until April 30th. All those interested have to do is change their location in the app to the place they want to find matches.
