KATE AND WILL DON'T WANT TO BE INVOLVED IN MEGHAN AND HARRY'S "SOAP OPERA"

As I talked about yesterday, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah Winfrey airing this Sunday has most of the Royal family scrambling. Not so much though for Prince William and Kate Middleton, who reportedly want no part in Meghan and Harry’s “soap opera.”

A source tells “Page Six” that they have more of a “discreet” approach to the spotlight, and they don’t want to get involved in the public “soap opera” unfolding with Meghan and Harry.

“Even when Harry spoke about the fallout with William, there was no briefing from them. And by saying nothing, that is the smartest move.” the source adds. “They don’t wish to elevate this soap opera — it’s honestly like watching Elizabeth Hurley in ‘The Royals.’”

IS JASON SUDEIKIS DATING HIS CO-STAR?

Is Jason Sudeikis really moving on with Keeley Hazell? The two are rumored to be locked down together in London while they film “Ted Lasso” – as evidenced by them posing for pictures in front of the same fireplace.

However, an insider says, “Jason has not moved in with Keeley. He remains still heartbroken over Olivia[Wilde] and isn’t yet ready for another serious relationship.” While Jason and Keeley have been spending time together, his whole focus is his kids, six-year-old Otis and four-year-old Daisy.

Word has it that that Jason and Olivia are forming a family quarantine bubble in London to co-parent together. As you know, she’s currently kicking it with Harry Styles.

SOFIA VERGARA IS QUIETLY HELPING SMALL BUSINESSES

When COVID-19 shut down America, Sofia Vergara really wanted to do something to make a difference "something more than a social media post."

Through her manager, she hooked up with a non-profit called Kiva, which gives microloans to people in underserved communities around the world. Together, they launched a "COVID-19 Response Fund."

Despite Sofia's backing, the money isn't all coming from her wallet. Instead, the service crowdfunds loans. The loans are eventually repaid, which then allows their investors to put their money back in, toward other Kiva-backed causes.

So far, more than $152 million has been raised through their COVID-19 Response Fund, and it's helped more than 228,000 small business owners.

HBO IS DROPPING IT'S PRICE

HBO Max is the most expensive streaming service at $14.99 a month . . . and it's also one of the newer ones, so basically another $14.99 on top of all the other subscriptions you already have. And apparently, they're having trouble moving the needle at that price.

So the CEO of HBO's parent company says they're launching a cheaper, ad-supported version . . . because not everyone is sitting on piles of money right now.

He says, quote, "It turns out that most people on this planet are not wealthy. If we can wake up [and] do things elegantly through advertising to reduce the price of the service, I think that's a fantastic thing for fans."

The cheaper tier is "on track" to be unveiled later this year, but there aren't any details on how it'll work yet.

Interestingly, this is the first time a streaming service would be making itself CHEAPER. Others, like Hulu and CBS All-Access, have started with a lower cost and then added more expensive, ad-free tiers.

It's worth pointing out that HBO has always been pricey and considered itself a "premium" channel. And HBO Max will also premiere all of Warner Bros. theatrical releases this year . . . so it wasn't shocking that it was priced at $14.99.
