ATLANTA HAWKS FIRE COACH LLOYD PIERCE
Hawks coach Lloyd Pierce was fired yesterday, given the hook less than halfway into a season that carried heightened expectations before being hampered by injuries.
Atlanta president and general manager Travis Schlenk announced the move in a short statement released by the team.
Assistant coach Nate McMillan will serve as the team's interim coach, Schlenk also announced last night.
McMillan has been fiercely loyal in his support of Pierce and met with him and the rest of the Hawks' coaching staff shortly after Pierce was fired. Pierce voiced his support for McMillan accepting the interim job, which was important to McMillan, sources told ESPN.

TAYLOR SWIFT VS. NETFLIX
Taylor Swift is not laughing at a joke made at her expense in the new Netflix series “Ginny and Georgia.” The singer took to social media to blast the crack, in which Ginny says, “What do you care? You go through men faster than Taylor Swift.”
“Hey Ginny & Georgia, 2010 called and it wants its lazy, deeply sexist joke back,” she tweeted. “How about we stop degrading hard working women by defining this horse shit as FuNnY.”
Taylor also called out Netflix, which aired her documentary, “Miss Americana.” “Also, @netflix after Miss Americana this outfit doesn’t look cute on you,” adding, “Happy Women’s History Month I guess.”

ALEC AND HILARIA BALDWIN WELCOME SIXTH
Congratulations are in order for Alec and Hilaria Baldwin, who have welcomed a sixth child – his seventh.
The new addition to the Baldwin family comes less than six months after they welcomed baby number five. Hilaria has taken to Instagram to show off the whole bunch: Carmen, Raphael, Leonardo, Romeo, Eduardo, and the newborn, all looking adorable in bed together.
The new arrival comes as a surprise, since the Baldwins hadn’t announced they were expecting after welcoming baby Eduardo back in September. No word about if the newest little bundle of joy was adopted or arrived via a surrogate...but it's really not our business either way, right? Check out the happy family of six HERE.

JASON SUDEIKIS EXPLAINS HIS GOLDEN GLOBES OUTFIT
JASON SUDEIKIS attracted a lot of attention for the tie-dye sweatshirt he was wearing at the"Golden Globes" and some thought it might have been some kind of paid product placement.
But Jason was showing some love to his sister. He said, quote, "The hoodie is [Forward__Space], my sister's dance and workout space in New York. It's a nice hoodie as much as the message."
Some people also thought that Jason was HIGH . . . because his acceptance speech was ALL OVER THE PLACE. But it's worth pointing out that he was video-conferencing from England, where it was MUCH later.

ORLANDO BLOOM TRYING TO MAKE DAUGHTERS FIRST WORD "DAD"
This sounds kind of sneaky, but I promise you 99% of all parents have done it: Orlando Bloom is trying to make sure that his daughter's first word is "Dad".
He says, quote, "I sing anything that has 'daddy' in it, just because I want her to say dad before she says anything else." And it might be working,"She sort of has said a bit of 'dada'. Every time I come up she's very excited to see me."
