*LIST* The Best (And Worst) Places To Retire

While a lot of us have a long way to go before we can even think of retirement, that doesn’t stop us from dreaming about where we want to spend our later years. But as great as some locations, like say Hawaii, may sound, they may not be ideal for retirement for a variety of reasons, and now a new report reveals which places are the best and worst to live out your golden years.

  • Blacktower Financial Management just came out with their list of the best and worst places in the U.S. to retire in 2020.
  • The COVID-19 crisis did not play a role in their results.
  • Instead they looked at five factors – cost of living, crime, age, property price and life expectancy.
  • Not surprising, Florida tops the list
  • More than a quarter of Florida’s population is 65 and older, and that’s despite home prices averaging over $250,000.
