Bride-To-Be Demands Stranger’s Email After Putting It On Invitations

Another day, another entitled bride, and this one is basically coming down hard on a total stranger for what is pretty much the birde’s mistake.

A Reddit user who goes by the handle ClockworkMoose shares that she recently started getting RSVPs to a wedding in her email inbox, which was strange because the poster wasn’t getting married. She soon received an email from a bride-to-be who has her same name basically demanding she give up her email.

As you can imagine, ClockworkMoose wasn’t ready to give up her email, which resulted in another email from the bride explaining that she and her groom chose that email account for their RSVPs not realizing someone else already had it. ClockworkMoose said the bride then told her to "either give my password to her or I can reset it and she can create a new one, whichever works for me!”

Again, ClockworkMoose didn’t agree, and the bride complained that she was ruining her life and wedding. It seems the bride had already sent out the invitations with the email address and since she had no way of getting them back she was furious at the email isse.

  • Eventually ClockworkMoose offered to forward all the RSVPs to the bride, but that wasn’t good enough, with the poster noting, “She sends back a nasty email full of expletives and name-calling again demanding my password or nothing.”
  • So, what did ClockworkMoose do? She started responding to the RSVPs, informing guests they aren’t invited to her wedding. She shares, “This has the benefit of being 100 percent true, albeit deceptive.”
