We only get a few days off a year so there’s really no time to waste. But according to a new survey, seems like that’s pretty much all we do with our time off.
It turns out, the average vacationer loses almost an entire day commuting and thinking of things to do.That’s right. We’re spending more time Googling “fun things to do” than actually doing them.
And what’s just as sad is we’re also spending just as much of our time off simply living in someone’s else's vacay.According to the study, about a quarter of vacationers say they spend more time on their vacations doing what others in their group want to do, rather than doing the things they want to.It’s a miracle any place on TripAdvisor get’s a good review.
So instead of having a relaxing break, we’re planning vacations while on them, and then spending our time doing other people’s idea of fun. Put this all together and you have the reason why about one in four people claim they end up having arguments with their travel companions.
Traveling alone sounds a lot better now doesn’t it?
