And when it comes to eating, folks particularly look forward to all the holiday desserts they get to chow down on.
A new poll finds:
- The average person is already thinking about their favorite holiday dessert.
- In fact, the average person starts to dream about their favorite holiday dessert three weeks prior to taking their first bite.
- 63% of Americans have a traditional dessert they eat each year at the holidays.
- 79% of folks would lose their holiday spirit without that sweet treat.
So, what are the flavors folks crave the most during the holiday season? Well, they include:
- Chocolate (51%)
- Apple cinnamon (48%)
- Cheese (48%)
- Gingerbread (48%)
- Raspberry (45%)
- Pecan (38%)
- Cream cheese (38%)
- Red velvet (37%)
- Cherry (36%)
- Cinnamon (36%)
- Peppermint (36%)
And while 64% of people say desserts are the biggest reason to anticipate the holidays, they certainly aren’t the only reasons. Other reasons folks look forward to the holidays include:
