Good Night Gossip: 7/31/19

Woodstock 50 is officially canceled!

You probably won't believe this but Woodstock 50 has been canceled ... kidding, I know you do believe it.

The festival was just two weeks from it's start date and organizer's just couldn't recover from the problems that continued to pile up.

Greg Peck, a principal of Woodstock 50, tells TMZ, "The unfortunate dispute with our financial partner and the resulting legal proceedings set us off course at a critical juncture, throwing a wrench in our plans and forcing us to find an alternate venue to Watkins Glen."

He goes on to say, "The timing meant we had few choices where our artists would be able to perform. We worked hard to find a way to produce a proper tribute—and some great artists came aboard over the last week to support Woodstock 50—but time simply ran short."

The cancelation announcement was made just hours after the news of Miley Cyrus pulling out was made.

Kristen Stewart Says She Was Misunderstood During "Twilight"

Kristen Stewart opens up about her “Twilight” days in Vanity Fair’s September Style Issue. The actress was thrown into the A-list status fire due to her starring role in the adaptation ofStephenie Meyer’s popular book… and feels like her personality was “misunderstood” at the time.

Back then, Stewart was pegged as a rebel who stayed out of the spotlight and hardly smiled. But she says the press had it all wrong, she just wasn’t trying to be “the center of attention” in a “celebrity-obsessed culture.” “I am in no way rebellious, I just want people to like me,” she adds.

After the “Twilight” saga wrapped, Stewart moved on to smaller projects, working with indie directors like Kelly Reichardt and Oliver Assayas. That’s when the actress feels she was given the chance “to be looked at not as, ‘oh, that’s the girl from ‘Twilight.’”

Hulk Hogan Has Officially Retired From Wrestling

There's a reason the WWE doesn't have a senior circuit. HULK HOGANt urns 66 in less than two weeks, and if you've been waiting for an epic comeback . . . it's not gonna happen.

He was just on"Stone Cold" Steve Austin's podcast the other day, and he said he can never wrestle again because of arthritis . . . and because his back is too jacked up from NINE SEPARATE SURGERIES he's had on his spine

He said his doctors told him he might never walk again after his sixth one. Then it took three more surgeries to get him back on his feet. And now he's just thankful for that.

Quote, "I was down about a year-and-a-half. But all that being said, I’m pretty darn cool. I can't wrestle again, but I'm really cool." (Profanity Warning: You can listen to his full interview here. He starts talking about it at 10:32.)
