It sounds so simple, it can’t be true…but it is? The happier you are, the more confident you shall be! And according to Northwestern Mutual's researchers, 92% of Americans say having money in their bank account makes them the happiest! Shoot...who doesn’t get happy when that check clears on Friday morning?
If your happiness isn’t where it needs to be, let’s get that money game on point by:
- Setting up a budget- The worst thing you can do is just get a check, blow it on electronics, and forget where and how you spent it. Give yourself a budget, so you know what’s going in and out of that account. Even if you have to limit yourself to $25-dollars a week on games.
- Building an emergency fund- When you got into that terrible car accident, you couldn’t work for weeks! Those medical bills were raking in, and your parents had to step in to help! You’ve got to keep that six-month safety stash up to par for situations just like that.
- Mapping out your long-term goals- So you want to retire with 20-times the amount you end with? You see the goal, now you betta get to saving!
Bottom line?Get your money right, and you’ll keep a smile on your face.
