A Wisconsin fire department posted a photo of the danger of leaving your hand sanitizer in your car on a hot day.
The photo, posted on Facebook by the Western Lakes Fire District, explained that the alcohol base of hand sanitizer makes them flammable and cause a risk of fire to your automobile.
The post states, "keeping it in your car during hot weather, exposing it to sun, and particularly being next to open flame while smoking in vehicles or grilling while enjoying this weekend can lead to disaster"
The fire department also warned against leaving clear water bottles in the cars as well.
