Lizzo Proves She's 'Still Bad' In Confident Breakup Anthem

Lizzo doesn't need a man to prove that she is "still bad."

On Friday (March 14), the Special musician dropped her newest single "Still Bad," and it's the confident self-love breakup anthem we all need to get over the end of a relationship. Throughout the disco-pop track, Lizzo sings about turning the "pain into some champagne," declaring in the chorus, "I don't need him, I need a drink/ I don't know why life is so f---ed up lately/ But after everything/ I'm still surviving and I'm still bad, baby/ So, b---- I can't complain."

Lizzo also shared an accompanying music video for the new track that appears to be a direct continuation of the video for her last single "Love in Real Life." Rather than face off against dancing zombies, however, she deals with the aftermath of a crazy night out on the town.

After waking up on the hood of a white car, a woman passing by splashes fake blood all over Lizzo, before the video cuts away to Lizzo, wearing a vivid red latex jumpsuit with blood-red specks still dotting on her face, in the middle of the woods as the car is set aflame and blazes behind her.

Like "Love in Real Life," "Still Bad" has an equally spooky plot twist mid-way through the visual as Lizzo marches through the dark forest and finds herself surrounded by otherworldly silver birdlike creatures. After some initial fear, she embraces the eeriness and grooves along with the creatures.

"Still Bad" is the second single off Lizzo's forthcoming fifth album. The track, along with the lead single "Love in Real Life," is available to stream at iHeart.com.
