Reflecting on his decade-long involvement with the show Stranger Things, Djo acknowledges the challenges of breaking away from the roles one becomes known for within the industry. "I kind of do understand that if you're known for something, I've been doing the show or 10 years and in the acting game, it's difficult to get roles outside the thing you're known for, let alone doing something entirely different, so I think it's part of the job that I have now to sort of find things that are kind of different or surprising and try to disappear behind whatever the work is."
