They say don't judge a book by its cover, but is that always the case? Dakota Johnson doesn't seem to think so.
In a Q&A video shared by Vogue Germany on Tuesday (October 21), the Fifty Shades of Grey actress shared a major warning about how a person's style can hint at something much deeper, per People. When Johnson was asked whether she has any red flags when it comes to men, she pointed to a specific type of footwear that may raise some eyebrows.
"Men who wear flip flops in public," she admitted, adding that anyone who comes across someone matching that description should "run."
In addition to the video, the Materialists star sat down with Vogue Germany for an interview where she also explained her reasoning for often wearing risqué and "naked" dresses on the red carpet. Admitting she doesn't care if some think her fashion choices are "too sexy," she explained how her mother, actress Melanie Griffith, instilled confidence in her growing up and taught her that "our bodies are beautiful."
This isn't the first time Johnson has been open about "non-negotiable" dealbreakers, especially when it comes to dating. Earlier this year, she shared one major requirement she has for potential dates.
