Battle Brewing Over Anne Heche's Estate
The battle over the estate of Anne Heche is getting heated. The battle lines have been drawn, and according to court documents, it's Heche's ex James Tupper vs. Heche's two sons, Atlas Tupper and Homer Laffoon.
When Heche died after a fiery car crash last month, 20-year-old Homer filed paperwork requesting he be named executor of her estate and that he and his 13-year-old half-brother, Atlas, be listed as their mother’s sole heirs. Her ex, Tupper (who is the father of Atlas and had broken up with the actress in 2018) made his own filing, in which he claimed that the late star sent him an email in January 2011 that read, “FYI in case I die tomorrow and anyone asks. My wishes are that all of my assets go to the control of Mr. James Tupper to be used to raise my children and then given to the children.”
In response, Homer filed new court documents this week opposing the validity of the 2011 email, insisting that the email “fails to satisfy the legal requirements for a valid formal witnessed will” because it “was not signed by (Heche) and does not have two witnesses who signed the document during (her) lifetime.”

Chris D'Elia Denies Claims Made by Woman Who Filed for Restraining Order
Comedian Chris D'Elia is on the receiving end of a restraining order - which his lawyer says should be totally flipped to protect him.
A woman by the name of Caroline Schmitz claims she's known D'Elia since 2017; they've hooked up several times, and now he's reached out to her on OnlyFans. As for the communications on OnlyFans, Schmitz says a profile - who she believes D'Elia was behind - threatened to post intimate videos she'd recorded and told her she needed to get out of Los Angeles. Schmitz says she believes D'Elia was behind the OF account because she, "recognized his style of writing." She also says she believes Chris hacked her phone.
As for D'Elia, he's denying everything. His attorney, Andrew Brettler, tells TMZ, "These accusations are as fantastical as they are defamatory. Chris has never met this person. But over the last year, she has sent him increasingly disturbing text and audio messages, including making threats against him and his family. If anyone is going to get a restraining order here, it’s going to be Chris.”
A judge has granted a temporary restraining order. There's a hearing scheduled for October.

Report: Khloe Kardashian & Tristan Thompson Were Secretly Engaged Before He Cheated
The saga of Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson has a new wrinkle. The couple was on-and-off since 2016, with Thompson being caught in cheating scandals in 2018 and 2019, and then the couple seemingly split for good last year after another cheating accusation came out in March of 2021…and now the timing is heartbreaking.
According to reports from Buzzfeed, Tristan had proposed to Khloe in February, just one month before he impregnated Maralee Nichols, and they were still engaged when he did it. According to Khloe, they didn’t split up while engaged; she revealed on the second episode of “The Kardashians” that Tristan proposed to her, but she turned him down.
While all this was happening, the couple started trying for a second baby in October, 2020, with use of a surrogate and it was successful just weeks after news broke off Maralee's pregnancy. Khloe and Tristan welcomed a baby boy in July.
