Hailey Bieber Insists She Didn't "Steal" Justin Bieber From Selena Gomez
Hailey Bieber has long kept her silence while others talked. At last, Justin Bieber's partner has had her say and spoken her truth.
On yesterday's "Call Her Daddy" podcast, Bieber spoke at length about the relationship timeline between Justin, herself and Justin's on-again off-again ex, Selena Gomez. And she was quite adamant about how it all went down. “I would never want to get into a relationship and get engaged and be married to them and think in the back of my mind, ‘I wonder if that was really, like, closed for you.' I know for a fact that we were able to get back together because it was very much completely closed (between Justin and Selena).” And in case there still might be any misunderstanding for those listening: “Period, point blank … (I) was never in a relationship with him when he was with anybody.”
So what exactly does the relationship timeline for the three of them look like? According to Hailey:
- Justin and Selena first broke up in 2015, and Hailey and Justin first connected in December of that year.
- The two split in 2016, at which point Justin began a relationship with Sophia Richie.
- In November 2017, Justin was again seen keeping company with Selena.
- By March 2018, Justin and Selena were again broken up.
- Justin and Hailey reconciled in June 2018 - and the two married three months later
When asked by host Alex Cooper if she had spoken to Selena since the wedding, Hailey assured her she had, saying "It's all love. It's all respect. “[That] has brought me a lot of peace,” she said. “We know what happened. It is what it is.” She closed by asking interested fans, “If we have moved on, why can’t you?”
