Anne Heche Taken Off Life Support

More than a week after the fiery crash that had her under investigation for felony DUI, Anne Heche has now died. The 53-year-old was taken off life support yesterday after a traumatic brain injury had doctors declare her brain dead Friday. She had been kept on life support for a few days to allow for organ donation.

While her life was marked by her career achievements – such as an Emmy – and relationships (including her three-year romance with Ellen DeGeneres), two young men knew her as their mother – and the eldest, Homer, spoke out over the weekend.

“My brother Atlas and I lost our Mom," his statement says in part. "After six days of almost unbelievable emotional swings, I am left with a deep, wordless sadness. Hopefully my mom is free from pain and beginning to explore what I like to imagine as her eternal freedom… "Rest In Peace Mom, I love you." With her death, police have also closed the investigation into the accident.

Kim Zolciak’s Daughter Arianna Arrested For DUI

Ariana Biermann, the daughter of Kim Zolciak-Biermann, was arrested in Forsyth County, Georgia Saturday and booked on charges of misdemeanor DUI, misdemeanor improper/erratic lane change, and underage alcohol possession/purchase of alcohol.

Her on-and-off boyfriend, Hudson McLeroy, was in the vehicle and was also arrested on alcohol-related charges. Attorney Justin Spizman has told TMZ that “Ariana was involved in a minor fender bender,” and says that the officer that responded mistook Ariana being “upset and anxious” as being “impaired by alcohol,” adding that she intends to fight the charges “because she is not guilty of them.”
