Jada Pinkett Smith Breaks Silence, Calls For Healing
Jada Pinkett-Smith has finally broken her silence in the aftermath of “the slap.” Will Smith laid hands on Chris Rock after he made a joke about Jada at the Oscars. Will issued an apology Monday, but Chris has yet to respond. The “Red Table Talk” host took to The ‘Gram to say, “This is the season for healing. And I’m here for it.”
While the message is cryptic, what Jada said a few days prior to the ceremony was not. In a message posted to TikTok about the Crown Act – which celebrates Black women’s natural hair – she spoke about the pressure she used to feel to have her hair look “European” and the freedom she feels now that her head is shaved.
“I liked my hair out wild and curly, but nobody wanted that,” Jada stated. “I had to learn to get the courage to go, ‘I’m not doing it,’ which is why I feel the freedom today. I don’t give two craps what people feel about this bald head of mine. Cause guess what? I love it.”

Chris Rock's Ticket Sales Explode
Will the slap heard around the world end up being lucrative for Chris Rock? While the comedian has yet to comment on Will Smith’s attack, his comedy tour kicks off in Boston tonight…and ticket sales have spiked in the wake the incident.
According to a tweet from the ticket resale site, TickPick, “We sold more tickets to see Chris Rock overnight than we did in the past month combined.” Meanwhile, the site’s public relations rep, Kyle Zorn, said that the cheapest tickets for the Ego Death World Tour kickoff went from $46 to $411 by Monday.
Also, 88 percent of the ticket sales on the site came through after the Oscars. For the record, Friday night’s show is sold out on Ticketmaster.

Ezra Miller Was Arrested Sunday Night at a Karaoke Bar in Hawaii
"The Flash" actor Ezra Miller was arrested in Hawaii Sunday night and was charged with disorderly conduct and harassment. The incident happened in a karaoke bar . . . Ezra allegedly yelled obscenities and became annoyed when people started singing. (Like dude, why are you in a karaoke bar if you don't want to hear amateur singing?)
He even took the microphone away from a 23-year-old woman. The bar owner said he asked him to calm down several times. Ezra clearly didn't listen because he also lunged at a 32-year-old man who was playing darts.
He was later released on $500 bail. (You can see his mug here.)
