GIRL SCOUTS HONORING BETTY WHITE WITH A PATCH
Betty White is being honored as the "Amazing Woman of the Month" by the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore, and all troops across the country are invited to earn a Betty White patch. She was announced back in December as the icon for January, but since her passing, there have been more than 1,300 sign ups.
To earn the patch, Scouts will first learn about her life and what made Betty so groundbreaking. The program will also allow them to build a pretend TV, create their own game show, advocate for animals, and learn how to get along with others.
The Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore will also host a Celebration of Life Zoom call for participants.
Sign-ups are still open and it costs $10.
The Amazing Woman of the Month program began last October. The other honorees so far have been African American Congresswoman Shirley Chisholm, Eleanor Roosevelt, and former Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

LEONARDO DICAPRIO GETS A TREE NAMED AFTER HIM
Just when you think Leonardo DiCaprio may already have it all, he now gets a tree named after him! Scientists at the "Royal Botanic Gardens" of Kev, London have named the scientifically called "Uvariopsis dicaprio" tree "The Leo tree." This honor comes thanks to Leo's advocacy work as he "was crucial in helping to stop the logging of the Ebo Forest" Dr. Martin Cheek shared.
"The Leo tree" is a new tree, endangered, and only grows in the Cameroon forest. It's a small tree but super tropical, an evergreen that has glossy yellow flowers that grow from its trunk. It's also the first plant new to science that has been named by Kew scientists in 2022.
The Ebo Forest was supposed to be opened up for logging. International experts wrote a letter to the government to try and stop it, documenting the perseveration of the unique plants and animals that live there. Leo got involved and used his social media to get his followers' momentum behind the cause. And it worked.

SHAWN MENDES AND CAMILA CABELLO SPOTTED WALKING THEIR DOG
It looks like Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello were telling the truth when they said they remained friends despite their breakup.
The pair announced their split back in October after two years of dating, insisting they will “continue to be best friends." Well, earlier this week they were spotted together, and they certainly looked happy together.
TMZ cameras caught the pair Thursday out walking their Golden Retriever Tarzan at a park in Miami. So far there’s no word on whether this means they are back together.
