LALA KENT CALLS OUT DEMI LOVATO
Lala Kent is calling out Demi Lovato for their approach to sobriety. To review, Demi refers to themselves as “California sober,” which means using some substances in moderation.
Lala – who got sober in 2018 – calls Demi’s take on sobriety super offensive. “There are people out there who work their [butt] off to never take themselves out of reality and to never place themselves in an altered state,” she said on the Behind the Velvet Rope podcast. “You know, they don't even, when they have a cold, take DayQuil or NyQuil. So to say that you're, like, 'California sober' or this type of sober is extremely offensive, I think.”
The “Vanderpump Rules” star added, “You’re not sober. If you are drinking or you’re smoking weed, you’re not sober.” So far, Demi hasn’t commented on Lala’s remarks.

HARRY GAVE ROYAL LAST MINUTE HEADS UP ABOUT MEMOIR
Prince Harry is putting out his debut memoir next year. While there were reports that the memoir was news to the rest of the Royal family, it turns out Harry did give them a heads up about it.
That is, he“ scrambled” to let them know once he knew the memoir would be making headlines. Harry’s rep tells “Entertainment Tonight” that Harry reached out to his family privately about the book, not that he feels like he needs permission to tell his story.
Considering the media circus surrounding Harry and his family, it’s no surprise to learn that news of the memoir sparked a “tsunami of fear” in Royal circles.“The Mirror” reports that Prince Charles found out the night before the news broke, and his response was, “oh gosh.”

JEFF BEZOS SUCCESSFULLY LAUNCHED INTO SPACE
Jeff Bezos successfully launched himself, his brother, and two other people into space yesterday onboard the extremely phallic-looking New Shepard spacecraft. (You can rewatch the whole livestream here.) The ship took off from a launch pad in Texas just after 9:00 A.M. About seven minutes in, the head separated from the shaft and achieved weightlessness.
The whole thing took about 10 minutes. The flight made history by carrying the oldest and youngest people to ever fly in space: 82-year-old female aviator Wally Funk and an 18-year-old Dutch student named Oliver Daemen.
The booster rocket is actually reusable, which is admittedly kind of cool. It landed safely on a landing pad two miles from the launch site. After the capsule landed, Bezos said, quote, "Very happy group of people in this capsule. We're so grateful to everybody who made this possible. Thank you." Later, he told reporters, quote, "Every astronaut, everybody who's been up into space, they say this, that it changes them, and they look at it and they're kind of amazed and awestruck by the Earth and its beauty, but also by its fragility.
Bezos is going to fly two more human missions before the end of the year, and he's already selling tickets for future flights. There's no word how much they cost, but he claims sales are already approaching $100 million.
Virgin Galactic is reportedly charging around $250,000 per flight. Bezos' company . . . which is called Blue Origin . . . is expected to be around the same. But both companies hope to eventually lower prices.
