BRITNEY SPEARS GETS TO HIRE HER OWN LAWYER
Another dramatic hearing in Britney Spears’ conservatorship took place in Los Angeles yesterday. The good news is the judge in the case ruled that Britney could hire lawyer Mathew Rosengart of Greenberg Traurig, to represent her in her attempt to get her father Jamie removed as her conservator.
“This is not working. We know that,”Rosengart argued. “The goal is to end the conservatorship. We have questions if this was even the proper forum back in 2008.” He added that if Jamie, “loves his daughter, it is time to step aside and move on so she can have her life back.”
Jamie’s lawyers refused, noting, “There is no basis for him stepping down … There is a path forward without all the hysteria.” They also continued to argue that Britney’s personal conservator Jodi Montgomery is to blame for all the things Britney is complaining about, not him, although Britney says she’s okay with Montgomery staying on.
In a more disturbing moment, Britney once again addressed the court, this time by phone, breaking down in tears as she insisted she wanted her father not only immediately removed as conservator, but charged with conservator abuse. According to TMZ, Britney did ramble a bit about all bad things she’s experienced under the conservatorship, insisting “they” took away her coffee, her car keys when she got a ticket, and even her hair vitamins. She added that Jamie and others involved with the conservatorship have threatened her, noting, "There should be no threats to me at all, ever. I have serious abandonment issues.”

CHRISSY TEIGEN SAYS SHE'S IN THE CANCEL CLUB
Chrissy Teigen is still on a Twitter hiatus after taking heat for her past cyber bullying. But she’s been back on Instagram, where she’s opened up about being a member of the so-called “cancel club.”
Teigen has apologized twice since being called out for bullying then-teenage Courtney Stodden. She’s lost major brand deals and acting gigs since the scandal, which in her mind makes her part of the “cancel club.” In a new post to Instagram, Teigen says she misses interacting with her fans and is having trouble “pretending everything is okay,” but has been avoiding speaking out because she’ll sound “whiney.”
“Cancel club is a fascinating thing and I have learned a whollllle lot. Only a few understand it and it’s impossible to know til you’re in it,” she adds. “If you or someone you know has also been cancelled please let me know if there is a cancel club reunion because I could use some time off my couch!”Check out the post below.
