Britney Spears offered an empowering message of confidence on Instagram and the post gave a shoutout to her pop peer Beyoncรฉ.
In her latest post, which was shared on Tuesday (April 14), the pop megastar, 38, shared kind words amid the COVID-19 pandemic. "It's getting more official each day โฆ.. the bright enlightening patterns of self love ๐ง๐ผโโ๏ธโ๏ธ๐๐ธ๐ฆ. If you don't believe me just look at what God is demonstrating for us to do each day for ourselves โฆ.. self care and knowing our worth as individuals!!!!!!!" she captioned a quote from Indian public speaker Osho.
In an effort to stand up to the haters spewing hate on her Instagram account, Spears cited Bey's "***Flawless" off her 2013 surprise self-titled album. "Learning to love You sometimes is the hardest thing to do โฆ and do you know how I show that ๐ค๐ค๐ค ???? By posting whatever the heck I want ๐๐๐๐๐๐ !!!! If I want to post a picture with the same outfit three times," she continued. "I will do so and take note from @Beyonce because I am FLAWLESS ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ !!!! But seriously โฆ. keep your mean comments to yourselves ๐."
Despite the non-stop criticism of her social media, Spears has kept positive and focused on helping others during the global crisis. Not only has she urged social distancing and thanked the essential workers, but she has also donated money to struggling fans and advocated for a redistribution of wealth.
