The Oscar nominees we're announced yesterday and I'd like to take a moment to talk about one of the films nominated called "DeKalb Elementary" .
This film was nominated for 'Short Film, LiveAction' and is about a local bookkeeper, Antoinette Tuff, who stops a school shooting.
In real life, that woman was Antoniette Tuff- and for twenty-five minutes, she relayed messages between the gunman—twenty-year-old Michael Brandon Hill—and an emergency dispatcher.
Antoniette Tuff is truly a HERO and first congratulations on the nomination and best of luck.
