Piedmont Park in the heart of Atlanta will once again play host to the Shaky Knees music festival this fall.
For three days in September, stages will be scattered around the park where dozens of artists can play throughout the day and into the night.
Shaky Knees will take place Sept. 18, 19 and 20 this year, and tickets are about to go on sale.
Shaky Knees will kick off on Friday, Sept. 18 with performances from Alice Phoebe Lou, Goldford, Cartel, Danny Elfman, Hot Mulligan, Snow Strippers and Ben Howard. As night falls in the park, Turnstile, Fontaines D.C. and Geese will perform. Friday night will be headlined by The Strokes.
Saturday is packed with performances from Hotel Fiction, Sophie's Body, Songs for Kids, Cruz Beckham, Rehash, Rum Jingle, The Inspector Cluzo, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Geordie Greep, Elio Mei, Villanelle, Minus the Bear, Wolf Alice, The Rapture and Congress the Band. The lineup leads to Jimmy Eat World, Blood Orange, Peach Pit and Taking Back Sunday. Pierce the Veil, The Prodigy and Pavement will also take the stage. Saturday will be headlined by Twenty One Pilots.
Sunday will start with Showing Teeth, Garbagebarbie, Songs for Kids, The Two Lips, Violet Grohl, Cardinals, Big Special, Porch Light, Coheed and Cambria, Jet, Ok Go, Fcukers and American Hi-Fi. Then Knocked Loose, Modest Mouse, Japanese Breakfast and Santigold will perform. Sunday will peak with LCD Soundsystem and Wu-Tang Clan before reaching a headliner with Gorillaz.
